50” Mower Deck Removal
1. Lower the lift lever to the lowest height-of-cut setting
(Fig. 831).
3. With belt tension relieved, carefully remove the belt
from around the electric PTO clutch pulley (Fig.
833).

2. Insert a 3/8”-drive ratchet wrench (set to tighten) into
the square hole found in the idler bracket at the left
side of the mower. Grasp the ratchet’s handle and
pivot it to relieve tension on the belt (Fig. 832).
Note: The left belt cover has been removed for
photo purposes.

11. Raise the lift lever to the highest height-of-cut setting
(Fig. 830).
