1. Route a new belt around the pulleys as shown (Fig.
589).
Note: Tension must be released from the deck brake
assembly to rout the belt around the left
pulley.
3. Position the right belt cover onto the mower deck
(Fig. 591).

4. Install the 3 self-tapping screws to secure the belt
cover to the mower deck (Fig. 592).
2. Secure the two idler pulleys by tightening the screws
and nuts (Fig. 590).
