4. Insert the shoulder spacer and bolt into the brake
idler bracket (Fig. 553).
6. Install a nut onto the bolt (Fig. 555).

7. Install a bolt, washer, and belt keeper rod into the
idler pulley (Fig. 556).
5. Position the brake idler bracket assembly onto the
mounting bracket on the mower deck so that the bolt
is inserted though the middle hole on the mounting
bracket (Fig. 554).
