6. Tilt both idler pulleys and install the upper mower
deck belt around the idler pulleys and the top groove
of the left side mower spindle pulley (Fig. 609).

7. Tighten the bolts and nuts retaining the idler pulleys
(Fig. 610).
9. Install 3 self-tapping screws securing the belt cover
to the mower deck (Fig. 612).

10. Remove the 4x4 wooden blocks from under the
mower deck.
11. Install the mower deck to the tractor. Refer to “46”
Mower Deck Installation” on page 7-72.
8. Install the left hand mower belt cover (Fig. 611).
