3. Disconnect the positive battery cable from the
battery terminal (Fig. 128).
5. Remove the battery from the battery tray (Fig. 130).

4. Remove the battery hold down rod (Fig. 129).
1. Lift the seat to access the battery compartment.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the
battery terminal (Fig. 127).
