Usethebrakepedaltostoporslowthemachine
(Figure10).
CAUTION
Ifyouoperatethesprayerwithpoorlyadjusted
orwornbrakes,youcouldlosecontrolofthe
sprayer,resultinginseriousinjuryordeath
toyouorbystanders.
Alwayscheckthebrakesbeforeoperatingthe
sprayerandkeepthemproperlyadjustedand
repaired.
ParkingBrake
Theparkingbrakeisapedaltotheleftofthe
brakepedal(Figure10).Engagetheparkingbrake
wheneveryouleavetheseattopreventthesprayer
fromaccidentlymoving.Toengagetheparkingbrake,
pressthebrakepedalandwhileholdingthebrake,
presstheparking-brakepedal.Todisengage,press
andreleasethebrakepedal.Ifthesprayerisparked
onasteepgrade,applytheparkingbrakeandplace
chocksonthedownhillsideofthewheels.
IgnitionSwitch
Theignitionswitch(Figure9),usedtostartandstop
theengineandtheswitchhas3positions:OFF,ON,
andSTART.
Speed-LockSwitch
Thespeed-lockswitchlocksthepositionofthe
tractionpedalwhentheswitchisset(Figure11).This
ensuresthatthesprayertravelsataconstantspeed
whiledrivingthemachineonlevelground.

9).Pushitforwardtoturnthelightsonandrearward
toturnthemoff.
FuelGauge
Thefuelgaugeislocatedonthedashofthemachine
andthegaugedisplaysthelevelofthefuelinthetank
(Figure9).
