What to do if a boom section doesn't spray on my Toro Paint Sprayer?
    • S
      Sandra DavisSep 16, 2025
If a boom section on your Toro Paint Sprayer does not spray, first turn the valve off manually. Disconnect the electrical connector on the valve and clean all leads, then reconnect it. Check the fuses and replace them as necessary. Repair or replace any pinched hoses. Ensure the boom by-pass valves are properly adjusted. For damaged boom valves or electrical systems, contact your Authorized Service Dealer.

    • J
      Jason StewartSep 16, 2025
If the pressure drops when you turn on a boom on your Toro Paint Sprayer, adjust the boom bypass valve. Also, remove the inlet and outlet connections to the boom valve and remove any obstructions. Inspect and remove all nozzles.
  • D
    Donald WilsonAug 27, 2025
Why is hydraulic fluid foaming in my Toro Multi Pro 5800 Paint Sprayer?
    • C
      Christian SheppardAug 27, 2025
Foaming hydraulic fluid can be caused by an incorrect oil level in the reservoir, using the wrong kind of oil in the hydraulic system, an air leak in the piston and/or gear pump suction line, or water contamination in the hydraulic system. To resolve this, correct the oil level, use the correct type of oil, locate and repair any air leaks, and remove any water contamination.
  • A
    Amanda MartinezAug 31, 2025
What to do if the spray pump hydraulic motor on my Toro Multi Pro 5800 doesn't rotate?
    • R
      Ronald ScottAug 31, 2025
If the spray pump hydraulic motor doesn't rotate, first ensure the pump switch is engaged. If it is, there may be an electrical problem in the pump control manifold, or the solenoid valve could be sticking or damaged. A worn or damaged spray pump hydraulic motor or a worn or damaged front gear pump section could also be the cause. Engage the pump switch, repair any electrical problems, repair or replace the solenoid valve, and replace the motor or gear pump section if necessary.
  • C
    Christopher LunaAug 30, 2025
Why does my Toro Multi Pro 5800 turn in the wrong direction when steering?
    • H
      Henry RobinsonAug 31, 2025
If rotating the steering wheel turns the machine in the wrong direction, the hoses to the steering cylinder might be reversed, or the steering cylinder could have an internal leak. Correct the hose connections to the steering cylinder and repair the internal leak.
  • C
    Christopher GreeneAug 30, 2025
What to do if neither of the spray booms on my Toro Paint Sprayer will raise or lower?
    • J
      Joel HughesAug 30, 2025
If neither spray boom raises or lowers, the oil level in the reservoir might be low, there could be an electrical problem in the boom lift control manifold, or the solenoid valve in the manifold could be sticking or damaged. A sticking, worn, or damaged check valve in the steering control valve, a faulty relief valve in the gear pump, or a worn or damaged rear gear pump section could also be the cause. Fill the oil reservoir, repair any electrical problems, repair or replace the solenoid valve, and repair or replace the check valve, relief valve, or gear pump section.
  • L
    Lindsey WarnerAug 30, 2025
Why won't one of the spray booms on my Toro Multi Pro 5800 remain in the raised position?
    • G
      Gina GomezAug 30, 2025
If a spray boom won't stay raised, the boom lift control manifold check valve for the affected boom might be sticking or damaged, the cartridge valve seals could be leaking, the lift cylinder might have internal leaks, or the hydraulic hoses to the lift cylinder could be incorrectly installed. Repair or replace the check valve, repair the seals, fix the internal leak, and correctly install the hydraulic hoses.
  • D
    David VasquezAug 29, 2025
What to do if one of the spray booms on my Toro Multi Pro 5800 Paint Sprayer does not raise or lower?
    • C
      Cindy JenkinsAug 29, 2025
If one of the spray booms does not raise or lower, the affected spray boom pivot may be worn, binding, or damaged. There might be an electrical problem in the boom lift control manifold, or the solenoid valve or check valve for the affected boom could be sticking or damaged. A plugged or damaged orifice, or a worn or damaged lift cylinder could also be the cause. Repair or replace the boom pivot, address any electrical issues, repair or replace the solenoid valve or check valve, clean or replace the orifice, and replace the lift cylinder if necessary.
