AssociatingtheHandheldRemote
withtheBase
Thefactoryinitiallyassociatestheremotetothebase
allowingthemtocommunicate;however,theremay
beinstancesintheeldwhenyoumustreassociatea
remoteandabaseunit,asfollows:
1.PresstheE-Stopbuttontoremovepowerfrom
thebaseunitandensurethatthehandheldisoff.
2.Standnearthebaseunitinclearlineofsight.
3.Simultaneouslypressandcontinuetoholdthe
ON/OFFandtheALLSTOPbuttons.

Thehandheldremotegoesthroughits
initializationscreensandsettlesonASSOC
PENDING.
4.Continuetoholdbothbuttonsandthen
quicklyreleasethemwhenASSOCACTIVEis
displayed(approximately4seconds).
ThedisplaywillshowPRESSSTORE.
5.PressandholdtheSTOREbutton.
TheremotedisplaysPOWUPBASE.
6.WhilecontinuingtoholdtheSTOREbutton,pull
outontheE-STOPbuttontopowerupthebase
unit.
Thehandheldremotewillassociate(link)with
thebaseunit.Uponsuccess,thedisplaywill
showASSOCPASS.
7.ReleasetheSTOREbutton.
Important:IfthedisplayshowsASSOCEXIT,the
associationfailed.
Note:TheHandheldRemoteandBaseUnitlinkcan
beviewedbyholdingdowntheALLSTOPandOPTION
STOPbuttonsatthesametime.
Thedisplaywillcycleandindicatetheselected
channelandtheIDoftheBaseUnit.

BatteryLife,OperatingFrequency,
BaseandRemoteIDDisplay
HolddowntheALLSTOPandOPTIONSTOP
buttonssimultaneouslytodisplaymultiplepointsof
information.

Asyouholdthebuttonsdown,thedisplaycycles
approximatelyevery2secondsdisplayingrstthe
batterylifeexpectancyinpercentremainingorcurrent
batteryvoltage,theoperatingfrequency(channel)
onwhichtheunitscommunicate,thenthehandheld
remoteIDnumber,andnallytheassociatedBASE
UnitID.
OperatingtheFloorand
Option
Usethefollowingprocedurestosetandoperatethe
machineoorandoption(suchasthetwinspinneror
otherattachment)asfollows:
Settingandoperatingtheooralone
Settingandoperatingtheoptionalone
Settingandoperatingbothoorandoption
together
SettingandOperatingtheFloor
Alone
UponinitiallypressingtheFLOORSTARTbutton
(whentheoorisnotrunning),theremotedisplay
showsthestoredsettingandanSisdisplayedafter
FLR(i.e.FLRS),indicatingthattheremoteisina
set-onlymode.Inthisset-onlymode,youcanadjust
thesettingupordown,buttheoordoesnotactivate,
remainingoff.Thisallowsyoutosetadesiredoor
speedorusethestoredsettingwithoutcausing
unwantedmovement.Aftersettingthespeed,press
theFLOORSTARTbuttontoactivatetheooratthe
chosensetting(ifthehydraulicsareengaged,the
oorwillstart).PressFLOORSTARTathirdtimeto
storethecurrentvalueinmemory.
Note:Changestothefoorsettingswhiletheoor
isrunningareimmediatelyeffective,buttheyare
temporaryunlessyoustorethenewsettingby
pressingFLOORSTARTagainafterchangingthe
setting.Forinstance,youmakeanadjustmentwhile
thedisplayshowsFLRS,pressFloorStartstartingthe
oorattheadjustedsetting,andthenturntheremote
offwithoutpressingFLOORSTARTagain,storingthe
