11.3. Lathe output utilization (Fig.11.1)
In Fig. 11.1 there are mutual relations between:
• spindle revolutons per minute and power output transmitted by work spindle.
• cutting speed for diameter range 50 to 1050 mm and cutting speed.
• power output of electric motor and spindle speed.
• max. spindle torque and spindle revolutions per minute.
• accessible chip cross section in full lathe utilization and spindle
revolutions per minute on turned workpiece.(Assumption:max. cutting
force 50000 N ).
• max. mass of chips in kg per hour.
The departure of carriage from emergency switch and emergency stop.
The position of carriage when is in the extreme position (safety switch is on the emergency stop - contacts disclosed) on the
screen the signal is displayed:
„AXIS X ON EMERGENCY SWITCH“ or „AXIS Z ON EMERGENCY SWITCH“
By it the carriage position or is quit evident.
Hint for operator
• call for removing of fault reason an authorised worker
After renew the function of extreme switch, limit stop event. repair of other fault incl. mechanical, perform the departure of
carriage from emergency stop X or Z by the following way:
• switch by push buttton SA 18 (lockable) on the operating panel MODE FOR SETTING UP THE MACHINE
• switch by push button SA 17 (marked with warning triangle) - UNLOCKING OF AXES EMERGENCY SWITCHWES
• keep the switch pressed up to moment when the emergency switch quits the limit stop
• switch on (second person) by push button SB2 on the switchboard - POWER CIRCUITS, the switching on is signalized
by signal lamp
• owerswitch the selector on the panel of control system into area FEED
• execute by directional push button JOG for corresponding sens of movement of carriage the hand operated displacement
of the carriage out of the reach of emergency stop
• unlock the push button SA17
CAUTION
Dont omit the right selection of carriage movement sens in order to prevent the quitting from emergency stop in direction to
the mechanical stop - danger of mechanical machine failure.
