11.4. Longitudinal and transversal stops.
11.4.1. Transversal stops
(Fig.B)
consist the couple of stops.
retarding
limit
emergency
on one body (1) steady fixed with holder of ball nut (2) and couple of switches SQ 1,2,3 and SQ 4,5,6.
Working lenght of path betwen limit positions is 635 mm.
When the slide runs over up to emergency stop it follows quick and safety stop of whole machine. The quitting the
emergency stop a renewal all functions is described in chapter 11.2.3, 11.3.
The retarding stop reduces the feed up to 20% of adjusted feed and the stop serves as referencing.
Warning:
dont perform the change of stops adjusting.
Maintenance: transversal stops dont require the adjusting. I case of failure of any switch the stop space is accessible after
unscrew of the guard of transversal slide.
11.4.2. Longitudinal stops
(Fig.C)
are adjustabe on the stop guide gib which is fixed on the front part of the bed and the switch SQ 17,18,19, 20, 21 is steady
fixed with the saddle. This function is analogue as at transversal stops.
As the reference stop serves the retarding stop at head distant min. 15 mm from limit stop.
The emergency stop are 15 mm from limit stops and emergency stop at headstock is assured against displacement in the
groove by pin.
The position of this stop represents in reality the distance of saddle 15 mm from the headstock body i.e steady stop.
The other working position of stops at headstock can be adjusted by technican of our Works during the training of operator
acc. to the clamping device of user incl. tooling and workpiece steady rests.
