5.2.13. Rests
(fig. 5.8) is designed:
for resting of the workpiece when clamped above the carriage. The rests are split, enclosed and equipped with rollers which
can be replaced by sliding shoes. For a greater safety and there better function, the motion screws of the cylindrical guiding
sleeves are rested in axial direction on plate springs which take up the elastic overload caused by inaccuracy of workpiece.
