3.6.3 Judgment threshold for ACS
The judgment level is adjusted for the automatic identification of whether the original set on the glass is
black or color. Namely, this is to adjust the judgment level used when “Auto Color” is selected at color
modes.

The procedure is the same as that of P.3-32 "3.6.2 Density adjustment".
3.6.4 Sharpness adjustment
If you want to make scan images look softer or sharper, perform the following adjustment. The
adjustment can be made for each of the color modes and original modes independently.

Note:
You have to make adjustment by balancing between moire and sharpness.

The procedure is the same as that of P.3-32 "3.6.2 Density adjustment".

for ACS
The larger the value is, the more an original tends to be judged as black even
at the Auto Color Mode. The smaller the value is, the more it tends to be
judged as color.
Acceptable values: 0 to 255 (Default: 70)

1086 Full Color Text The larger the value is, the sharper the image becomes; while
the smaller the value is, the softer the image becomes.
The smaller the value is, the less moire tends to appear.
The acceptable values are 0 to 255 (Defaullt : 128)
