8.3.7 Converter Firmware (MJ-1101)
The harness jig for board connection is required for updating the firmware of the converter PC board of
the finisher (MJ-1101) as well as the download jig (K-PWA-DLM-320).
Important:
• Be sure to connect the equipment and finisher (MJ-1101) before updating the converter
firmware.
• Be sure to shut down the equipment before installing and removing the download jig.
• Do not shut down the equipment during the update. The data could be damaged and not be
operated properly.
[A] Update Procedure
(1) Install the ROM to the download jig (K-PWA-DLM-320).
Make sure the direction is correct.
(2) Press the [ON/OFF] button on the control panel to shut down the equipment and turn the power
OFF using the main power switch.
(3) Take off the finisher board access cover.
