5 Commissioning
5.1 Re-Structuring and versioning of the GSDML file
Conditioned by coming stage of expansions the existing GSDML specification V2.2 to
V2.3 had to be customized.
However, for controls with older version numbers, furthermore a GSDML version V2.2
is available.
With the launch of the GSDML version V2.3 also a new structuring within the GSDML
file was performed. The essential differences are obvious in the following table:

As from 08/2015 GSDML versions V2.1, V2.2 and V2.31 are supported. With this
version a new device access point was implemented for Devices with MRP protocol:
