Table 4: Selecting the driving direction and drive position
Operating mode Display indicator Description
Driving direction
Forward
V Requirement: The gear selector is set to Neut-
ral.
• Press red control and keep it pressed.
• Pull back the selector lever.
Idling/neutral N Requirement: Selector lever is either at forward
or reverse driving direction.
• Move selector lever to center position.
Driving direction
Reverse
R Requirement: The gear selector is set to Neut-
ral.
• Press red control and keep it pressed.
• Press selector lever forward.

A = Automatic mode
Shifts between drive positions are made based
on the speed and load on the engine.

Requirement: Forward or reverse driving direc-

Select drive position using toggle switch + / –.
• Higher drive position = press control +
• Lower drive position = press control –

in the reverse driving direction.
Automatic mode A Automatic mode is always set when the vehicle
is started.
Switch from manual to automatic mode.
Requirement: Driving direction has been selec-
ted.
• Press red control.
Manual mode M Switch from automatic to manual mode.
Requirement: Driving direction is selected.
• Press toggle switch + / – or red control.
