Switching off voltage supply
If the CHALLENGER550 is to be shut down for a longer period, turn the main battery switch to "OFF"
to prevent the battery from discharging.

(1)
Inform the operating personnel.
(2) Bring the CHALLENGER550 into the specified parking position.
(3) Switch off the engine.
(4) Switch on the ignition (start switch to "I").
(5) Press the brake pedal about 15 to 20 times until the control lights "brake circuit 1" and "brake
circuit 2" light up.
(6) Press the parking brake about 10 to 15 times until the control light "parking brake control" lights
continuously.
(7) Turn the start switch to "0".
(8) Make sure that the engine is standing still.
(9) Turn the main battery switch to "OFF".
(10) Attach a sign with the words "CHALLENGER550 lockout" to the instrument panel.
