Safety
For all work relating to the
•
operation,
•
retrofitting or modification of the Atmos and its safety devices,
•
inspection,
•
maintenance and
•
repair
the switch-on and switch-off processes in accordance with this operating manual and the instructions for maintenance
must be observed.
The Atmos may only be operated if all safety devices, e.g. detachable safety devices, casing locks, etc. are in place and
functional.
Before starting work, personnel must familiarize themselves with the Atmos work environment. The Atmos must never
be le unattended during operation!
At least once per shi, the Atmos must be checked for externally visible damage. Changes (including operating behavior)
must be immediately reported to the responsible shi supervisor or operations manager.
In the event of malfunctions on the Atmos, it must be shut down and secured immediately. Malfunctions must be
rectified immediately by trained specialists.
2.7 Safety indications for maintenance
Before starting, the operating personnel must be informed about the performance of special and maintenance work.
The stipulated or specified deadlines for recurring tests/inspections in this operating manual must be observed.
In order to conduct maintenance measures, workshop equipment appropriate to the work is essential.
If necessary, maintenance areas should be illuminated with flashlights or tripod lights.
The Atmos must be switched off for servicing, repair and maintenance work and secured against switching on again
unexpectedly by:
•
switching off the Atmos using the on/off switch and then
•
removing the plug of the power cable from the Atmos IEC connector.
Wait for the turbine to come to a standstill aer switching off/stopping the Atmos.
To avoid an electric shock, do not open any electrical components, casings or covers.
Do not touch damaged, cracked and especially live parts.
Do not make program changes to programmable control systems. Program changes to the control system may only be
made in consultation with Trotec Laser GmbH.
Work on electrical equipment must only be performed by trained specialists or instructed persons under the guidance
and supervision of a trained specialist.
Regularly check cable and hose connections for damage, especially those on moving components, and replace them if
necessary.
Replace the filter inserts at the specified or appropriate intervals, even if no safety-relevant defects are visible.
