7 Maintenance
GENERAL
The chapter Maintenance covers the areas of care, visual inspection (inspection) and maintenance by the operating
personnel as well as the repair of the Atmos by specially trained maintenance personnel. Structuring these areas into
different service intervals should make it easier for you to plan the necessary maintenance measures.
The instructions described in this chapter are to be understood as the minimal recommendations. Depending on the
operating conditions, extensions may be necessary in order to retain the manufacturing quality of the

Improper inspection, maintenance or repair may result in personal injury or property damage, either
immediately or subsequently.
All maintenance and repair work on the Atmos must be performed by qualified personnel, paying
particular attention to chapter 2. Safety.
Notice
The regular servicing and repair work must be documented by the maintenance and operating personnel
in order to maintain the warranty claim. Use only approved original spare parts. Trotec Laser GmbH
assumes no liability for the use of unapproved spare or replacement parts and equipment. The safe and
environmentally-friendly disposal of operating materials and replacement parts must be ensured.
Notice
To avoid property and consequential damages to the Atmos, please make sure that components are
properly dismantled and reassembled.
Therefore, the following basically applies to all removal and dismantling work:

Identify the parts that belong together.
•
Mark and note the installation position and location.
•
Remove, clean and store assemblies separately.
Following repair work, the following generally applies:
•
Check all screw connections for a tight fit.
•
Check all hose/pipe connections and connectors for leak tightness.
If safety devices must be dismantled during maintenance activities, the safety devices must be reattached and checked
immediately aer the work has been completed.
