Safety
That is the only way to ensure that your personnel work in a safety and hazard-conscious manner. As the operator, you
should therefore have every employee confirm their participation in the briefings in writing.
2.3 Duty to notify
FOR YOUR SAFETY
As the operator of the Atmos, please be sure to observe the information in the CE manufacturer’s declaration, CE
Conformity Declaration and the user information, in particular the operating and maintenance instructions.
RESIDUAL RISK
Filter systems contain combustible components (filter material, seals, plastic parts, etc.). In your workplace evaluation,
in accordance with the Employee Protection Act (AschG), the residual risk of a fire must be taken into consideration. It’s
important that changes in the use of the exhaust system are approved by us in writing.
CE CONFORMITY
As a rule, we will supply you with a filter system with a CE Conformity Declaration. Assembly with other machines
creates a higher-level system for which you, as the operator, must conduct a risk analysis and establish overall
conformity.
DUTY TO NOTIFY
Sparks, cigarette butts and the like must not get into the filter system.
Our systems may only be used for the specified, intended use. Changes in the use require our explicit written approval.
Any use of the system that goes beyond this is considered improper, the manufacturer/supplier cannot be held liable for
any resulting damage. The operator bears the risk.
INTENDED USE OF THE ATMOS
The introduction of dust types or media which do not correspond to those specified in chapter 2.4 are not permitted.
The media intended for the exhaust system or filtration must not be classified in any dust explosion class.
STARTUP, MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING
Information on maintenance and safety can be found in the specific operating instructions. The machine/facility
may only be serviced, repaired or started when it is stationary (all-pole disconnection using the main switch) and by
appropriately trained and authorized personnel.
The Atmos must be checked at least 1x per year in accordance with Section 32 1-4 GKV.(Statutory Health Insurance)
2.4 Intended use
The Atmos by Trotec Laser GmbH is used exclusively as an exhaust system for gases and smoke contaminated with
pollutants that occur in the following areas of activity:

Stamp production,
•
Sign making and engraving work.
