7. Vacuum out the old activated carbon to a level of approx. one third using a
standard vacuum cleaner with an ash container.
8. Pour out the remaining activated carbon.
Notice
Do not vacuum out the entire activated carbon, otherwise the
underlying filter mat could be sucked in, residual carbon could fall
through the grid and damage the turbine.
9. Replace the lower filter mat - entire bottom must be covered.
10. Replace the activated carbon filter frame on the turbine casing.
11. Fill box with new activated carbon (quantity according to data sheet) and place
2nd new filter mat on top.
12. Place the frame back on and screw it down.
13. Put the fine filter box and the lid back on the exhaust unit and close the caps on
both sides.
14. Connect the suction unit by means of the mains plug and activate the unit.
15. Reset the activated carbon timer - Press the pushbutton for 10 seconds.
During the operation of the Atmos, you must regularly check the status message and replace the filters when the
message CHANGE FILTERS appears.
An acoustic alarm is built-in, which draws attention to the filter replacement with a clearly audible beep.
8.4 Remove impurities in the lid
1. Disconnect the Atmos from the power supply and pull the
power plug out of the socket.
2. Pull off the suction hoses.
3. Unlock the side latches of the lid and li it off.
4. Place the lid upside down on a stable support and loosen the
6 fixing screws to remove impurities.
5. Then reassemble the screws, cover and exhaust hose on the
unit and restore the power connection.
