6.3 Test operation
Notice
Conduct the test operation if you have just purchased the Atmos and want to get to familiarize yourself
with its functions. You should also conduct the test operation if you have connected the Atmos to a (new)
remote control or if faults in the Atmos have been previously rectified.
1. First, check all connections to the Atmos for correctness and a tight fit.
2. Connect the Atmos to the power supply.
3. Switch on the Atmos using the pushbutton on the control panel.
Notice
When switching on manually, press and hold the pushbutton for approx. 0.5 seconds. Alternatively,
switch on the machine to be suctioned. This will automatically turn on the Atmos.
4. Increase the speed of the turbine by turning the rotary knob to the right. You can determine the increase in speed by
the increase in noise.
5. Increase the speed of the turbine to 100%.
6. Then proceed to reduce the speed of the turbine by turning the rotary knob to the le. The reduction in speed can
be determined from the decreasing noise level.
7. If you operate the Atmos using a remote control, check all available functions on this as well. These can include:
– directly switching the Atmos on and off again
– automatic switch-off of the Atmos when the machine is off,
– automatic switch-on of the Atmos when the machine is turned on.
8. Then switch off the Atmos using the pushbutton on the control panel. Alternatively, switch off the machine to be
suctioned. The Atmos will automatically switch off aer the preset follow-up time. Provided that the Atmos has run
to your satisfaction and without malfunction, the Atmos is now ready for normal operation.
