Under NDIS mode does the meter
always use the Link Local IP
space (169.254.x.x/16) or will it
allow the user to set a static IP?
The meter always uses the Link-
Local IP address space. It does not
allow you to set a static IP.
Can the meter set its IP from a
DHCP server?
No, the meter does not get its IP
address from a DHCP server.
When using NDIS and the Link
Local address space is the IP
address guaranteed to the same
between meter and system
reboots.
Yes, the meter will always self-
assign the same Link-Local IP
address.
