The 4WD function can be operated
in any gear during driving (forward/
reverse driving).
① Automatic mode
The 4WD function is automati
-
cally deactivated when the angle
of one of the front wheels is over
20 degrees or the vehicle speed
exceeds 15 km/h.
Pressing the button once turns
on the lamp and activates the
automatic mode. Pressing it
once again turns off the lamp
and deactivates the automatic
mode.
② Manual mode
It is possible to control the 4WD
function manually by a driver for
easier operation.

Examples of useful conditions of
differential lock
① One wheel slips or tractor can

not be driven forward when mov-
ing into/out of a eld.
② A wheel slips during work requir

ing traction, such as plowing.
③ One wheel is stuck into a soft
eld and can't escape.

ON - The 4WD function is acti-
vated when pressing the
upper portion of the shift
button.
OFF - The 4WD function is deac-
tivated when pressing the
lower portion of the shift
button.
