5.3.4. Wiring trip circuits of circuit breakers
Connect the circuit-breaker trip circuits to the following
terminals (max. four separate trip outputs):
TRIP1: X1-7, X1-8
TRIP2: X1-9, X1-10
TRIP3: X1-11, X1-12
TRIP4: X1-13, X1-14
The output contact will close within 7 ms at an arc fault,
provided that three-phase current measurement is used.
If TRIP RELAY 3 is programmed for circuit-breaker failure
protection (CBFP) (see section ), the trip signal is obtained
after a set operate time of 80, 100 or 150 ms from the main trip
signal in case the preconditions of an arc fault still exist.
NOTE!
The function of the TRIP3 circuit must be specified when order-
ing.
