7.3. Handling self-supervision faults
7.3.1. Error indications
The self-supervision system supervises the function of the arc
protection system continuously. When it detects an internal
fault, an alarm signal is issued via the SF alarm contact of the
master unit, and the ERROR indicator on the front panel of the
master unit will remain lit to indicate an internal fault. A fault
message is generated.
The three last fault messages are stored in the memory of the
master unit.
Due to continuous selftesting of the internal circuitry, a weak
rapid light pulse occurs on the ERROR indicator. This is
because the test pulse is checking that the internal connections
are intact, no actions need to be taken.
