The VAMP50 includes three-phase overcurrent protection,
earth fault protection and fast arc protection. At the incoming
feeder, the instantaneous stage I>>> of the VAMP feeder device
is blocked with the start signal of the overcurrent stage. This
prevents the trip signal if the fault occurs on the outgoing
feeder. VAMP 51 includes additionally auto-reclose function
(79) that is essential in overhead distribution networks for
isolating temporary arcing fault.
