Preconditions and warnings
To check if the appliance is ready to execute a cooking mode:
When selecting any cooking mode the appliance can prompt the user to perform certain actions in
order to complete the preconditions required to start the cooking mode. This may be a function key
(For example: tip pan) or simply an information icon.
Simply select the desired mode. Whether this is a VarioCooking Control process or a manual cooking
mode (boil, fry, deep fry), the unit will give the required information

Opening the cover required. Lowering of the pan required. The pan is
not detected completely down.
Lifting the basket. The previous
AutoLift
TM
function has not fully raised
the cover.
Tipping the pan required!
This precondition is always asked for af-
ter a frying mode. This in order to empty
the oil contained in the pan.
Cover release. The cover is not un-
locked.
The drain valve cannot be opened
because the pan temperature is too
high.
To access the selected cooking mode
the pan drain valve must be closed.
Only VarioCooking Center 112T.
Appears if the drain valve is opened
while oil is supposed to be in the pan. A
warning beep will also sound.
Filling the pan is not possible because
the pan temperature is too high.
If there is an accidental power failure
the unit displays this symbol after
restarting.
