4520Z Removing and Installing the Air
Cleaner System
CAUTION
The engine and air cleaner system may be hot. To avoid possible burns, allow
the engine to cool before working on the engine.
1. Remove the air cleaner components as required.
2. Examine the air cleaner assembly components for wear or damage and replace
them as necessary.
IMPORTANT
Leaks in the air cleaner system will allow dirt to enter the engine and can cause
damage to the engine and components. Ensure that all the air cleaner
components are in good condition and installed properly.
3. Assemble the air cleaner components as shown Figure 7.
