Establishing
Communication
You can connect the V200t to your network by using the following options:
• Connecting by Telephone Line
• Connecting by Ethernet Cable.
Connecting by
Telephone Line
Connect the telephone cord to the communication port on the terminal, then route
it directly to a telephone wall jack (see Figure 9). This is a direct connection and
the line is dedicated to the terminal.

Connecting by
Ethernet Cable
Connect the ethernet cable to the ETH port on the terminal, then route it directly to
a network jack (see Figure 10). This is a direct connection to your network.

To reduce the risk of fire, use only No. 26AWG or larger UL Listed or CSA
Certified Telecommunication Line Cord.
