RX Tune

c Set the transceiver to CH 1 (band center, wide devia-
tion) via the “Channel” box on the “Alignment” win-
dow previously.
d Tune the RF output of the Radio Tester to 160.100 MHz,
then set the output level to –6 dBμ with ±3.0 kHz de-
viation @ 1 kHz tone modulation.
e Click the left mouse button on the “RX Tune” button.
f Click the left mouse button on the “Start” button.
g Move the Slide Bar, as needed as, for minimum de-
flection of the Receiver Noise Level meter on the
“Alignment” window.
h Press the “OK” box to lock in the new data.

Tight Noise Squelch
c Set the transceiver to CH 1 (band center, wide devia-
tion) via the “Channel” box on the “Alignment” win-
dow previously.

then set the output level to –4 dBμ with ±3.0 kHz de-
viation @ 1 kHz tone modulation.
e Click the left mouse button on the “Tight Noise SQL”
button.
f Click the left mouse button on the “Start” button.
g Press the “OK” box to lock in the new data.
