Appendix D: Disposal Procedure
Waste materials must be disposed of in a responsible manner in line with environmental regulations.
Decommissioning and disposal of this product should be undertaken by qualified personnel in adherence to local and national
safety regulations, particularly for protection of lungs, eyes, and skin from chemicals, dust etc. Approved lifting gear and power
tools should be used and access to the work area must be restricted to authorized personnel. The following steps are a guide
only and should be adjusted to take into account local site conditions:
1. Disconnect unit from electrical supply.
2. Drain and dispose of any heat transfer fluid through an approved recycling facility.
3. Remove unit to an approved recycling facility.
