Check that the machine's guard is parallel with the ground.
If necessary, turn the top link until the guard is parallel with the ground.
Model 124 only
For tractors without hydraulic floating position (hydraulic outlet locked
in the open position), the following must be carried out when the
machine is correctly fitted on the tractor:
Check that the machine's cutting unit is in the working position.
Hold the tractor's hydraulic outlet open for a few seconds.
Check that the pin bolt is in the middle of the hole on the hydraulic
cylinder.
Setting the spring
catch
The spring catch keeps the machine in position in relation to the
tractor. If the machine meets an obstacle, the catch is released, and
the machine's cutting unit will swing behind.
Check that the spring is tightened as shown.
