Spring catch when
hitting an obstacle
The spring catch keeps the machine's cutting unit in position in relation
to the tractor. If the machine meets an obstacle, the catch is released,
and the machine's cutting unit will swing behind. Carry out the
following:
Stop the tractor immediately.
Remove the obstacle.
Reverse the tractor slightly and check that the machine's cutting
unit returns to its original position and the spring catch is
reactivated.

Cutting unit guard
The guard around the cutting unit can be placed in 2 positions.
Placing the guard in the top position improves the cutting quality on
hilly ground.
Pull the tarpaulin up at both ends of the cutting unit so the frame is
visible.
Raise the frame up and remove the bolt in both ends of the cutting
unit.
Fit and tighten the bolt in the top hole in the bracket in both ends of
the cutting unit.
Pull the tarpaulin down over the frame
The guard must not under any circumstances be set in a position
higher than that provided by the manufacturer.
