Cause Remedy
The heating system is switched off. ■ Turn the ON/OFF switches (see chap-
ter "Controls") at all control units ON.
■ Switch ON the mains isolator, if instal-
led (outside the boiler room).
■ Check the fuse/MCB in the power dis-
tribution board (main domestic fuse/
MCB), and reset/replace if required.
Control unit or remote control incorrectly
adjusted.
Check settings and correct if required:
■ At every Vitotronic 100:
" " must be set (see page 19).
■ At the Vitotronic 300-K:
– DHW heating must be enabled (see
page 30).
– DHW temperature (see page 29).
– Time (see page 35).
– Time program (see page 30).
■ Check the settings at the remote con-
trol (if available).

No fuel. See page 43.
"Fault" is displayed at the Vitotronic 300-
K, and the red fault indicator flashes (see
chapter "Controls").
Scan the type of fault, make a note of the
fault code and acknowledge the message
(see page 40).
If necessary, notify your heating contrac-
tor.
