Cause Remedy
Symbol " " is displayed by the Vitotronic
100.
Scan the type of fault, make a note of the
fault code and acknowledge the message
(see page 40).
If necessary, notify your heating contrac-
tor.
Symbol " " is displayed by the Vitotronic
100, type HC1B.
Press "R" (see chapter "Controls").
Acknowledge the fault message with
OK.
Notify your heating contractor of the fault
code if the fault reoccurs.
Rooms are too hot
Cause Remedy
Control unit or remote control incorrectly
adjusted.
Check settings and correct if required:
At the Vitotronic 300-K:
Room temperature (see page 22).
Time (see page 35).
Time program (see page 23).
Heating curve (see page 53).
Check the settings at the remote con-
trol (if available).
Separate operating instructions
"Fault" is displayed at the Vitotronic 300-
K, and the red fault indicator flashes (see
chapter "Controls").
Scan the type of fault, make a note of the
fault code and acknowledge the message
(see page 40).
Contact your local heating contractor if
required.
