Checks as part of the Building Regulations approval process
As part of the Building Regulations approval process, condensing
combustion equipment is tested by the flue gas inspector (where appli-
cable) for adherence to Building Regulations and any general recog-
nised technical rules to be observed.
The State Building Regulations, their implementation orders and the
combustion equipment orders, as well as the general building appro-
vals and permits of the higher supervisory authority, in individual
cases, are part of the Building Regulations requirements.
