Vitocontrol control panel
(On request)
Control panel for regulating the heating system in conjunction with a
Divicon heating circuit distributor.
The control panel comprises all components required for the control
and monitoring of the heating system.
The system is designed so that the following equipment could be
installed next to the control equipment of 1 to 4 boilers: e.g.
Vitotronic 300-K (type MW1S), Vitotronic 200-H (type HK1S or HK3S),
pump control, test equipment, time switches etc.
Design information
10.1 Delivery, handling and installation
Delivery
We deliver the equipment to site on a vehicle with crane facility and
will unload the equipment subject to requirements.
Boilers with a shipping weight in excess of 10 t require a special crane
on site for unloading.
Handling and positioning
A number of lifting eyes will be provided on each boiler and flue gas/
water heat exchanger where lifting gear may be attached. The linear
base rails simplify handling.
Our experts can undertake the handling and installation on prepared
foundations upon request (chargeable option).
The boiler is mounted on linear base rails. These rails may be placed
onto the ground without further concrete foundations. Observe the
max. installed burner height.
However, to facilitate the cleaning of the installation room it is appro-
priate to position the boiler on a plinth.
For recommended minimum clearances to walls for installation and
maintenance work, see the datasheet of the relevant boiler.
Anti-vibration boiler supports may be used if anti-vibration measures
are required. Adjustable anti-vibration feet may also be inserted into
the base rails of the Vitoplex up to 560 kW.
Installation room
General requirements of the installation room
■ Avoid air contamination through halogenated hydrocarbons (e.g. as
in sprays, paints, solvents and cleaning agents)
■ Avoid very dusty conditions
■ Avoid high levels of humidity
■ Prevent freezing and ensure good ventilation
In rooms where air contamination through halogenated hydrocar-
bons can occur, install the boiler and the Vitotrans 300 flue gas/water
heat exchanger only if adequate measures can be taken to provide a
supply of uncontaminated combustion air.
If these instructions are not observed, any consequential losses
directly related to any of these causes are excluded from our war-
ranty.
If in doubt, please contact us.
Requirements of the Sample Combustion Order
The installation room must meet the standards laid down by the "Fire
Regulations" of the respective country. Observe the Building Regula-
tions and Fire Regulations of the respective country of installation.
Combustion air supply
For open flue combustion equipment with a total rated output in excess
of 35 kW, the fresh ventilation is deemed to have been verified if the
combustion equipment is located in areas which provide an aperture
or duct leading outdoors.
At 35 kW rated output, the cross-section of the aperture must be at
least 150 cm
2
. For every kilowatt rated output in excess of 35 kW, the
aperture must be 2 cm
2
larger than stated above.
Pipes must be sized to provide equivalent flow rates. The required
cross-section may be split over a maximum of 2 apertures or pipes.
