4.6.1 Filling the sealing chamber with sealing medium
Preparation
• Switch off the dispenser drive and secure it against unauthorised switching on.
Filling the sealing chamber
• Unscrew both plugs (13)
• Press sealing medium into one of the two openings (G) on the sealing chamber until
the medium escapes at the other side.
• Apply Teflon tape to both plugs (13) and refit
Note If there is product in the sealing chamber, the rotary shaft seal shown in the figure
(20) and the relevant seal are faulty and must be replaced. Both rotary shaft seals (20)
are pressed into the spacer (19).
At the same time the contact surface on the drive shaft - at which the rotary shaft seals
provide the seal - must be checked for damage (grooves where the seals run). If
necessary, replace the drive shaft.
