Volvo D24 - Install New Oil Seal and Gear on Crankshaft; Install Camshaft Gear Belt

Install new oil
seal and
gear
on crankshaft
Pack
space between sealing lips with
grease.
Press
in new seal. Use
adapter 5200,
vibfation
damper
center bolt
and a lhick washer.
Instal gear
on crankshaft.
Crankshaft front seal, replacement
lnstall:
-
retaining
bolts for cover
-
mounling bracket for
cooling fan/aliernator.

Install
camshaft
gear
belt
Make
sure that beir isfifted
in exacrtysame
position
as
Align identification
marks
on belt, camshaft
sprocket
and
crankshaft
seaf.
It
is extremely
important that
belt is fitted in exactry
same
position
as before.
Tension
belt by rnoving
coolant
pump
(by
hand).
Tighten
pump
mounling
bolts.
