7.3 View the Phonebook
Entries are sorted alphabetically.
Phonebook entries appear alphabetically.
Press on the handset when the phone is not in use. The screen displays Phonebook Entries:
XX for a few seconds, then displays the rst entry in the phonebook.

to browse through the phonebook.

Press MENU when the phone is not in use.
Press

to scroll to Phonebook, then press SELECT.
Press SELECT to choose View.

to browse through the phonebook.
7.4 Alphabetical Search
You can only perform an alphabetical search on the handset.
Press on the handset when the phone is not in use.

Press MENU when the phone is not in use.

to scroll to Phonebook, then press SELECT.
Press SELECT to choose View.
Use the dialing keys to enter the letter associated with the name. For example, if you have the
entries named Jennifer, Jessie, Kevin and Linda in your phonebook, press 5 (JKL) once to see
Jennifer (when Jennifer displays, press q to see Jessie), twice to see Kevin, or three times to see
Linda. If there is no name entry matching your search, the next closest entry or the last entry in the
phonebook displays on the screen. If necessary, press
p
q
to browse.
7.5 Dial, Edit or Delete a Phonebook
7.5.1 Dial a Phonebook Entry
You can dial a phonebook entry on any line.
To dial a phonebook entry:
Search for the desired entry in the phonebook.
To dial the displayed entry on the cordless handset, press or .
