9.2.3 Delete Your Outgoing Messages
Press MENU when the phone is not in use.
Press
p
q
to scroll to AnsweringSys, then press SELECT.
Press SELECT again to choose Outgoing msg.
The handset displays OUTGOING MSG and announces, “Announcement. Press PLAY or
press ReCoRD.”
Press PLAY and then press RESET or DELETE to delete your recorded outgoing message.
The handset displays Reset Outgoing msg to default? Press YES to conrm. You hear a
conrmation tone.
9.3 Message Playback
If you have both new and old messages, you can play either new or old messages. The calling number
display information displays on the screens when you play messages and you can call back the caller.
When playback begins, the handset and telephone base screens display the message status, calling
number display information, and time and date of the message recorded. You hear the total number
of messages followed by the day and time of the message. After the last message, the telephone
announces, “End of messages.” and the screen displays End of messages.
To listen to messages with the telephone base:
Press /PLAY when the phone is not in use.
Options during playback:
Press VOL- or VOL+ to adjust the message playback volume.
Press /SKIP to skip to the next message.
Press /REPEAT to repeat the message. Press /REPEAT twice to listen to the previous
message.
Press X/DELETE to delete the playing message.
Press /STOP to stop the playback.
To listen to messages with a handset:
Press MENU when the phone is not in use.
Press SELECT to choose Play msgs. If you have either new or old messages, the messages
play automatically. If you have both new and old messages:
To play new messages, press SELECT to select
Play new msgs.
To play old messages, press

to choose Play old msgs, then press SELECT.
