ANSWERING MACHINE
When the handset is playing a message, its screen shows the caller’s name or number. If the caller’s
information is unavailable, the handset shows No caller info.
Options during playback:
Press VOL+ or VOL- to adjust the message playback volume.
Press SKIP to skip to the next message.
Press REPEAT to repeat the message. Press REPEAT twice to hear the
previous message.
Press to switch between the speakerphone and the handset earpiece.
Press DELETE to delete the playing message. The handset displays Message deleted briey and
the system advances to the next message.
Press OFF to stop the playback.
note
Only one device can access the answering system at a time.
9.4 Delete All Old Messages
Using the telephone base:
Press X/DELETE when the phone in not in use. You hear, “To delete all old messages, press
X/DeLete again.”
Press X/DELETE again. You hear, “All old messages deleted.” and a conrmation tone.
Using a handset or the telephone base:
Press MENU when the phone is not in use.

to scroll to AnsweringSys. Press SELECT.
Press

to scroll to Delete all old, then press SELECT. The handset shows Delete all old
messages?
Press YES to conrm. The handset displays Deleting... then All old messages deleted! and then
returns to the previous menu. You hear a conrmation tone.
note
You can only delete old messages, which are messages you have previously reviewed.
