6 Assembly and Commissioning

6 ASSEMBLY AND COMMISSIONING
6.1 TRAINING OF ASSEMBLY/COMMISSIONING PERSONNEL
The assembly and commissioning personnel must have the technical skills to safely
commission the device.
When assembling, commissioning and carrying out all work, read and follow the
operating manuals and safety regulations for the additionally required system
components.
A skilled person must check to ensure that the device is in a reliable state after it is
assembled and commissioned.
6.2 STORAGE CONDITIONS
Until the point of assembly, the device must be stored in a dry location, free from vibrations
and with a minimum of dust. The device must be stored in closed rooms.
The air temperature at the storage location must be between 0 and 45 °C (32 and 113 °F).
The relative air humidity at the storage location must be between 10 and 95% (without
condensation).
6.3 INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
The basic booth or basic spray wall must not be installed in places with a high temperature.
Powders with a gelling tendency should be processed at low temperatures. When using low-
melting powder varieties, an ambient temperature below 35°C (95°F) may be necessary.
Please note the powder manufacturer's specifications in this regard.
Temperature range 5–40°C; 41–104°F
Relative humidity < 75%
Signal ground (earthing strip or rod) According to VDE 0141 low-impedance with NYAF >
16mm

6.4 TRANSPORTATION
WARNING
Parts have high weights and centers of gravity!
Risk of injury and damage to the device.
4 Only use appropriate lifting tackle (crane, fork lift) for assembly.
4 Secure the parts against tipping during transport.
4 Cordon off assembly area to keep out unauthorized persons.
The spray wall is delivered disassembled to the site of installation. Final assembly is
performed on site.
Transportation and warehouse operations may only be performed by qualified personnel,
especially in the use of industrial trucks, ladders and cranes.
The selected means of transport must be suitable and permissible for the respective
component weights.
In order to bring the parts to the installation site, an opening width of at least 2500 mm; 8.20
ft must exist. Before and after the opening, there must be enough space for maneuvering
long parts up to 3500mm, 11.48ft long.
