2. Perform a rough cleaning of the spray wall.

7.5 PERFORMING A PAINT CHANGE
WARNING
Dust formation!
Risk of poisoning if inhaled.
Danger due to escaping dust, contamination of the device and device components.
4 The booth's extraction system and the filter cleaning system must remain activated
during all paint changes.
In the case of a paint change, powder residues must be thoroughly removed from all the
powder-conveying parts throughout the complete coating system.
1. Keep the extraction system of the booth or the spray wall with the filter cleaning
system activated.
2. Switch off the powder feed and the high voltage for the spray gun and secure them
against being switched on unintentionally.
3. Clean the powder feeding parts and the interior of the booth.
4. Scrape the paint powder from the booth walls with a rubber scraper and dispose of it
with a suitable industrial vacuum cleaner.
5. Switch off the booth extraction.
6. Change the filter cartridge for recovery mode (1 cartridge set per powder shade). Keep
the cartridges in their packaging.
7. Switch the booth extraction system and filter cleaning system back on.
ð Coating can be continued with the new paint powder.
