Why is the air motor iced up in my WAGNER Puma Water Pump?
    • D
      David McfarlandJul 27, 2025
The air motor in your WAGNER Water Pump might be iced up because there is a lot of condensation water in the air supply. To resolve this, install a water separator.

What to do if WAGNER Water Pump is not sucking up material?
    • J
      Jennifer GomezAug 3, 2025
If your WAGNER Water Pump isn't sucking up material, check the suction system's union nut and tighten it if it's loose, as the pump might be taking in air. Also, clean the suction filter if it's clogged. If the ball in the suction or piston valve is stuck, clean it with a cleaning agent and vent the device if necessary.

What to do if WAGNER Water Pump spray jet collapses?
    • D
      Douglas DavisAug 15, 2025
If the spray jet collapses (pulsation), it could be due to several reasons. The viscosity might be too high, so thin the spraying material. The spraying pressure could be too low, so increase the incoming air pressure or use a smaller nozzle. The valves might be clogged, so clean the material pump and, if necessary, leave it to soak in cleaning agent. There could be a foreign body in the suction valve, so dismount the suction valve housing, and clean and check the valve seat. If the diameter of the compressed air line is too small, assemble a larger incoming line. If the valves, packings, or pistons are worn out, replace them. The control air filter or work air filter might be clogged, so check the filter and clean it if necessary.

Why WAGNER Water Pump does not work?
    • S
      Summer MccarthyNov 7, 2025
Your WAGNER Water Pump might not be working due to several reasons. The air motor may not be working or might stop; in this case, open and close the ball valve on the pressure regulator unit, or briefly disconnect the compressed air supply. There might be no pressure indication on the pressure gauge because the pressure regulator is defective; disconnect the compressed air supply shortly, or repair or change the pressure regulator. The spray nozzle could be clogged, so clean it according to the instructions. Ensure there is sufficient compressed air supply by checking the compressed air supply. The filter insert in the spray gun or high-pressure filter might be clogged; clean the parts and use a suitable working material. The fluid section or high-pressure hose could be blocked, for exampl...
