1.4.1 Column-selection valve operation
The column-selection valve is motorized, enabling the system to automatically switch solvent flow
to one of three columns.
The following figure represents the flow diagram of the column-selection valve when it is installed
in a 30-cm CH or 30-cm CHC module.

1.5 Column configurations
You can install multiple chromatographic columns of varying size within the 30-cm CH or 30-cm
CHC module's column compartment. The table below lists the supported column configurations.
Note: Columns are not provided with the Waters 30-cm CH module, the 30-cm CHC module, or
the optional column-selection valve.
