switch

series

RF
output

open
.

prevents
damage
to
the
instrument's
Attenuator
or
outputAmplifier
.
This
open
switch
OPTION
1A
willbe
indicated
by
a
flashing
of
the
UNLEVELED
lamp
on
the
front
panel
.
Once
the
switch
is
tripped,
it
will
latch
in
the
open
position
and
remain
open
until
reset
.
A
combination
of a
bad
mismatch,
high
output
level
(
0
.1
V)
and
changing
frequency
can
also
cause
the
Protection
Circuit
to trip
.
