2.4.2 Checking the Engine Oil Level
Caution!
Always check the engine oil level with the
compactor in horizontal position.
- Open the hood lock (5/1).
- Open the hood lock flap (5/2).
Danger!
Risk of scalds because of hot engine parts!
- Pull out the oil dipstick (6/1), wipe the oil from the
dipstick with a clean, non-fluffing cloth and insert
the dipstick back into position.
- Pull out the oil dipstick once again.
The oil level must be between the "min" and the "max"
mark (refer to figure 7).
- If required, add engine oil through the oil filler neck
(8/1) (refer to paragraph 3.4 for quantity and
specifications).
Danger to the Environment!
Immediately wipe up any spilled fuel.
