Code Indication Cause Action
A014
ALARM: Initial coee boiler lling
timeout
• The coee boiler has not reached the lling
pressure in the maximum time (90 seconds).
Check hydraulic circuit of the coee boiler:
• Check that there is actually water in the mains
water supply.
• Check solenoid valve / pump lter
• Check volumetric dispenser (lter input / 0.5
mm output JET output).
A015 ALARM: Inconsistent water levels • Boiler level probes detection error.
• Switch the machine o and back on again.
• Check the level and safety probe.
A016 ALARM: Cash register serial Time-out • Broken communication with the cash register. • Check the connection with the cash register.

ALARM: Services boiler pressure probe
failure
• Services boiler temperature probe discon-
nected or faulty.
• Check for proper connection of the cervices
boiler probe.
• If necessary, replace the probe.
A033 ALARM: Group NTC probe failure
• Group temperature probe disconnected or
faulty.
• Check the probe connection.
• If necessary, replace the probe.
A034 ALARM: Group boiler NTC probe failure
• Coee boiler temperature probe disconnected
or faulty.
• Check the temperature probe connection.
• If necessary, replace the probe.
A035 ALARM: Group pre-heating timeout
• Disconnected group heat circuit.
• Group heating element interrupted.
• Safety thermostat open.
• Fuse F6- F8 burned out.
• Check group heat circuit: group heating ele-
ment; safety thermostat, fuse and triac in the
control unit; main switch; connection of the
phases for 380 V version.
• If necessary replace the faulty components.
A036 ALARM: Group heating timeout
• Disconnected group heat circuit.
• Group heating element interrupted.
• Safety thermostat open.
• Fuse F6- F8 burned out.
• Check group heat circuit: group heating ele-
ment; safety thermostat, fuse and triac in the
control unit; main switch; connection of the
phases for 380 V version.
• If necessary replace the faulty components.

ALARM: Group boiler pre-heating
timeout
• Group water boiler heat circuit disconnected.
• Group water boiler coil interrupted.
• Safety thermostat open.
• Fuse F2 - F3 - F4 - F5 burned out.
• Check group water boiler heating: heating
element; safety thermostat, fuses and triac in
the control unit; main switch; connection of the
phases for 380V version.
• If necessary replace the faulty components.
A038 ALARM: Group boiler heating timeout
• Group water boiler heat circuit disconnected.
• Group water boiler coil interrupted.
• Safety thermostat open.
• Fuse F2 - F3 - F4 - F5 burned out.
• Check group water boiler heating: heating
element; safety thermostat, fuses and triac in
the control unit; main switch; connection of the
phases for 380V version.
• If necessary replace the faulty components.
A039 ALARM: Group dispenser
• Volumetric dispenser does not measure the
water. 6 seconds have elapsed since the last
pulse received by the dispenser.
• Check connection on the volumetric dispenser.
• Check that there is actually water in the mains
water supply.
• Check pump lter / volumetric dispenser lter.
• Check the 1 mm group output JET.
• Check the output JET of the 0.5 mm. volumetric
dispenser.

ALARM: Group low pressure group
warning
• The dose was not reached in 90 seconds.
• Check the dose.
• Check for proper operation of the dispenser.
• Check the grind and the dose.
A041 ALARM: Group low pressure • The dose was not reached in 90 seconds.
• Check the dose.
• Check for proper operation of the dispenser.
• Check the grind and the dose.
A042 ALARM: Group water empty warning
• The pressure has fallen below 2 bar in the
coee boiler.
• Wait for the boiler to automatically fill the
water.
• Check that there is actually water in the mains
water supply.
• Check solenoid valve / pump lter
• Check volumetric dispenser (lter input / 0.5
mm output JET output).
