3.3 Execute Tool Calibration
This operation is used to measure the selected tool, so as to ensure it works
normally during machining.
The types of tool calibration include the following:
• Mobile calibration
• Fixed calibration
• First-time calibration or calibration after tool changed
First-time calibration or calibration after tool changed is the default type, and
the common type in shoe molding industry. This section mainly introduces this type
of tool calibration.
Before executing first-time / calibration after tool changed, do the following:
1. Ensure parameter N80005 Calibration Type is set to 2.
2. To define workpiece origins of Z1-axis and Z2-axis, manually move Z1-axis and
Z2-axis to the workpiece surface, and do clearing.
To execute first / exchanged calibration, do the following:
1. In Auto / JOG / Handle / Step mode, to enter Coor interface, press →
